About Office of the Registrar

The Office of the Registrar’s primary mission is to enhance and facilitate the instructional experience and mission of Indiana University by providing quality service to faculty, students, and others as they relate to the creation, collection, integrity, and dissemination of the student academic record. The office performs the tasks and functions required that enable students to enroll in courses and maintain the faculty record of their students’ performance. The office also serves as the guardian of these records to preserve their privacy and security. The Registrar also supports the academic mission of the campus through the implementation, preservation, and interpretation of academic and curricular policies as charged by campus faculty and administration. Finally, we provide support and service to students on behalf of faculty to insure they can conduct their instructional business with the institution and achieve their academic goals.
