Need help finding a class? Look for IU faculty, staff, alumni, and returning students wearing red “IU Guides” t-shirts. They’ll be stationed throughout campus on August 21 and 22 to welcome you and help you find your way. ​

Freshman Run-On

On Saturday, September 16, put on your IU gear, paint your face, and help lead the IU football team onto the field during this year’s freshman run-on! Meet at the practice field north of Memorial Stadium by 2:00 p.m. and be sure to bring your game ticket—single tickets can be purchased at the gate for $10. And it’s IU Family Day, so encourage your family members to cheer you on from the stands!

You Could Be an IU Football Captain!

For the first time ever, three first-year students will be chosen as honorary captains for the IU Hoosiers' season opener against Ohio State on August 31—ESPN’s GameDay game! If chosen, you’ll be on the field and you'll participate in the coin toss. There are three ways to enter:

Winners will be notified via their IU email on August 30.
