Our Plan in Action

Thanks to the hard work of OEM staff and campus partners, IU Bloomington has seen record growth in a number of strategic areas. And this is just the beginning. As we move closer to IU’s Bicentennial Celebration in 2020, we will continue our good work of expanding student opportunities both on campus and after graduation, improving the student experience, and ensuring an IU degree is affordable.

Daryl Henderson, Class of 2019, Sports Marketing & Management, South Bend, Indiana

Victoria Powell, class of 2020
Pre-Nursing
Walton, Indiana

As the first in her family to go to college, Victoria Powell didn’t know what to expect. Receiving the Pell Promise award from IU lifted a huge weight from her shoulders (and her mom’s). “It’s kind of crazy to me that I’m already in college and I’m already working toward my future. I get to do something the majority of my family has not been able to experience, so it’s like we are all experiencing it together. That makes it even more exciting, and I have a great support system.”
